Because the current KANSO site uses only technologies that are strictly necessary for a requested account, security, or checkout function, there is no consent banner. If analytics, advertising, or other optional technologies are introduced, KANSO will update this notice and request consent before setting them where required.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small values stored by a website in a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and identifiers that read or write information on a device. They can keep an account signed in, protect a request, remember a choice, or measure service activity.
This notice should be read with the Privacy Policy, which explains how KANSO handles personal data produced through these technologies.
2. Why KANSO uses them
- Maintain a secure authenticated session after sign-in.
- Refresh authentication tokens and prevent session loss.
- Protect account, checkout, billing, support, and licence actions.
- Complete Stripe Checkout and detect payment fraud.
- Balance traffic, maintain availability, and apply essential security controls.
KANSO does not currently use cookies to build advertising profiles, track people across unrelated websites, sell browsing behaviour, or personalise third-party advertising.
3. Technologies set on kanso.gg
| Name or category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
sb-…-auth-token and related Supabase session values | Required to sign in, maintain the account session, refresh authentication, and protect restricted pages. | Session or the authentication period configured for the account. Values may be refreshed as the session continues. |
| Security and routing values | Required for request integrity, rate limiting, fraud prevention, traffic routing, and reliable delivery where the infrastructure provider needs them. | Session or a short operational period. |
Exact authentication cookie suffixes may contain the Supabase project reference and may change when the authentication provider updates its implementation.
4. Technologies on provider pages
When you open Stripe Checkout or the Stripe billing portal, Stripe may set cookies or use similar technologies on Stripe-controlled pages for payment, fraud detection, authentication, preferences, and service operation. Stripe determines those technologies under its own privacy and cookie information.
Shopify stores, apps, browsers, payment providers, and links opened from KANSO may use their own technologies. KANSO does not control cookies set by an unrelated site. Review that site's notice before making a choice.
5. Browser and consent choices
You can inspect, block, or delete cookies through browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary authentication cookies will prevent sign-in and may stop checkout, billing, downloads, support, or dashboard functions from working.
Where consent is required for a future non-essential technology, KANSO will provide a clear accept or reject choice before it is used. Rejecting optional technologies will not block essential service access.
Global Privacy Control and similar browser signals are respected where legally required. Because KANSO does not currently sell personal data or use cross-context behavioural advertising, there is no advertising sale or sharing to opt out of on kanso.gg.
6. Changes and contact
KANSO will update this notice when cookie names, purposes, providers, or retention materially change. Questions can be sent to support@kanso.gg.
